Don't even ask about the green wire in the second picture. ![icon_confused.gif](upload://qv5zppiN69qCk2Y6JzaFYhrff8S.gif)

I like the roof repairs also.

Looks like two different shingles, was it a duplex?

Yeah, I would sleep easy in that single family home.

Did the smoke detectors work, heck where there any?

Actually Bob, no, they didn't. Six smoke detectors (even one in the kitchen ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif) ) and not one was functional.

Would you like to see what I found in the attic? Or how about the garage?

And lets just bust a hole in the garage firewall for these junction boxes. . .

Is that 14/3 (or maybe 12/3) with the red wire snipped off?

"I wonder what the red wire is for?" lol

Geez at least buy the right wire... and it's not as if they intended for some kind of future expansion (sometimes people run 14/3 to a light box that might have a fan some day) because they cut it off.

I find the selective use of junction boxes amusing too... wonder why the garage splices deserved one (albeit without a cover) and the attic didn't... lol
