The thing with plutonium is you get a dose or you don’t get a dose. You’ll know when you get a dose. There are hundreds of nuclear workers every year ensuring the stock pile of weapons are ready to protect this country.

As a further USAF nuclear guidance system technician, I can say that article is absolute bullshit. Testing is used for rank promotion. But in the field training is intense.

The only reason you have the freedom to utter this nonsense in English and not Russian is because of the nuclear weapons we posses. You’ll sleep well at night knowing myself and hundreds of other workers built a laboratory to pump out hundreds more “weapons” a year.

Shady Contractor here. You have all the control until you release payment. I agree with the others hold payment until you get the answers you want and are satisfied with the install.

What type of thermo moisture detections do you all use before opening up dry wall or the shower floor? I saw the FLIR Systems MR160 Imaging Moisture Meter
He’s threaten a lien on our house now. We aren’t satisfied with the work.

Actually I speak Russian and my wife is Ukrainian. In any event I’ve never understood the argument of “You’re lucky you aren’t speaking (German, Russian, Japanese, whatever)” as if the main reason to fight a war is to keep from the horrors of speaking a language other than English. We fought the revolutionary war against Great Britain (One should consider the insecurity of a country that must constantly call itself “Great”) but do we really substantially enjoy rights today different than the average citizen in the UK?
I don’t know if you really want a long discussion about foreign policy but invasion of countries that never attacked us is a reason some countries leaderships seek the development of nuclear weapons in the first place. They believe the US will only attack countries that can’t defend themselves so for self preservation they go the extra mile to try to develop the means to do so. just my thoughts

IMO a threat of a Lien is only chest pounding. I don’t know what state you located in. In Colorado the contractor would have to serve a Notice of Intent to Lien on the property owner 10 days before filing for a lien, and if the contract price is over $500, then the contract must be in writing to file a lien.

Besides the wet shower floor, the schluters are not equal heights. one is clipped 1/2 from the celling.

- Total Amount due for above scope of work incl. 12% Profit and Overhead…"
- A 50% Down payment is required at start of work and a 50% payment is due at finish of the above Scope of work.

I don’t know maybe you should talk to an attorney afterall. A lien (I’m not an attorney and this isn’t legal advice) I think prevents you from selling your house until the lien is paid

It depends on what State you are located and the laws governing liens. You should speak to a local attorney.
