So you weaponized the dollar? No problem, we'll all build our own system. Keep your dollar

I had to laugh as I read this story that was linked to your story, Nick. I really don’t think the US dollar has much to worry about, at least not for the foreseeable future.

The group of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa has never been more prominent on the world stage. But the BRICS themselves are complicated.

Russia’s leader can’t attend the summit because host country South Africa would be obliged to arrest him for alleged war crimes. Two other members, India and China, have a simmering border conflict. And while Beijing is locked in a rivalry with the United States, New Delhi has close ties with Washington.

Cuba is even joining BRICS. Why are all these countries getting together to create their own new system?

Here are some indicators that the world is “dedollarizing” after Biden weaponized it against Russia and stole their money… instead of respecting our international agreements to use the dollar as the world’s reserve currency:

  • According to the IMF, U.S. dollar represents less and less of the share of currencies held in global foreign exchange reserves in the first quarter of this year. Down to 58.8%.

  • Putin just said that 90% of their trade is conducted in yuan and rubles now.

  • China and Saudi Arabia signed a swap agreement to shift more of their trade away from the dollar.

  • China sold a record volume of U…S bonds in the first quarter of 2024. Bloomberg report showed that China sold $53.3 billion worth of U.S. treasuries.

  • Japan sold 37.5 billion in U.S. treasuries in April and $22 billion in May.

I explained what I thought the world’s reaction would be to him stealing. They are doing exactly as I predicted. No one wants a thief to be in charge of the vault.

If I had to guess I’d say it’s the same old thing.

Communism vs Capitalism.

Or another way to put it, good vs evil.

So, you think Communism is good and Capitalism is evil. Explains alot!

And your statement explains a lot about your common sense, or lack of.

You said communism vs. capitalism is the same as Good vs. Evil. Had you meant it’s the same as Evil vs. Good you should have said that, but you didn’t. If you don’t know how to express yourself that has nothing to do with me or my common sense. Now you’re likely to say, “Every one knew what I meant.” as a defense, but no one can read your mind so you must have meant it the way you wrote it. You certainly didn’t deny or refute what I said.

You’re just too smart for me Bob.

Which side are you on?

That’s a question that should be obvious Dave.

Hint: I own my own buisness in America.

I agree not sure why you support the evil commies so often. :man_shrugging:
