How do you guys handle sprinkler systems as part of your inspection? How detailed do you get?
This seems like a specialty item to me and they are so fragile that we could easily get blamed for breaking it, just from turning it on. Thoughts?

I disclaim and recommend having a sprinkler guy check it out. Normally the people have a person that is familiar with their system. You could also ask the owner to demonstrate it if you want to take the time an the client is willing to pay for it.
With so many systems it is pretty tough to know how each operates.
I do always look for potential safety issues.
