Going for Residential Plumbing Overview now.

the simple matter for me is all of the courses I have now taken is the amount of all information that is given helps prepare you for questions that your clients may ask while inspecting. this is very valuable as this way you won’t be standing there trying to make something up which most people can pick up on it if you really don’t have a sound and true reply. thank you interNACHI for all this.

I understand that according to the National Fuel Gas code. A FVIR can be installed on the floor of a residential garage WITHOUT an 18 inch stand.

How has it gone for you? I was a little taken aback by the detail of the Water Heater training, but found it very informative - certainly won’t forget it.

Happy Taco Tuesday Everyone, school has begun.

Starting it.

Water heaters need to be raised 18" of a garage floors. This is to protect the system from any combustion on the surface floor. Water heating units in a garage must also be raised and protected in an area where a car can not hit it. Which can cause an explosion that can be catastrophic.
