Uplink Robotics offers InteNACHI discount on inspection crawlers

When encountering a MN crawl, I often wonder; "Would it have killed them to put on more mutherf’n block on these piers? Why so dang low all the time? Lol. Most of them there is absolutely no way to crawl under everything unless you are a Navy Seal or similar.

If someone want’s to pry $3K+ outta my wallet for a “tool”, it damned well better to be able to go where I need it to go, when I need it to go there, and not just in the pretty, flat, dry spaces… but a damned mud bogger that can climb walls and withstand electrical shock, and spit-out lightning in return, as it’s fighting and kicking ass on it’s way back to my truck!!

Now THAT would be interesting to see. I honestly can’t see a machine that could do that without compressing or disturbing the insul. Maybe YYYYUGE balloon bubble tires with massive surface area. I dunno …

Got more pics of that space? The pic here is doable with a Ferret or Bar None no problem. Even the Fanchy Danchee can get in there.

Sounds like a job for a Wolverine.

I forgot how much that place felt like a mine shaft!!

Mine shaft? More like a cave in. Lol.

Would this be a kit? Parts and plans?

We aren’t too sure yet and are going between a few different ideas. That’s why I thought I’d ask what inspectors want.

As of right now, I think we are leaning towards a parts list and plans for a budget build. We’d provide an Amazon parts list for a common RC platform and provide printable 3D models. For inspectors who don’t have a 3D printer, we’d likely sell the parts through our online shop. This is all subject to change, but from our previous talks this is what we are leaning towards.

That sounds reasonable.

Hey Christian, just received my Marten and I love it. Media quality is fantastic. Zero turn is great.

I’ve tried my Marten out on a couple already this week. It works great crawling along a wall. Plus at that angle the onboard LEDs immediately pick up cracks and displacement. I also like how you can toggle the onboard camera between video capture, photo capture, and no capture, or use the cell app to capture, or use the monitor to capture. At one point I had the tires right up against the CMU and I thought I was going to wedge it in there, but the zero turn worked like a charm.

Will y’all be at the conference next weekend? Looking to try it out if so!

Since you went out of your way to bring me into your comment, post your video of the perimeter wall, let me see how you picked up these issues. I don’t believe you.

Darren, Did you get a case of books?

A case of books… Help me out here, not following you.

Just offering my opinion on your opinion. I apologize if that triggered you, but this Marten crawler is great and works well for me.
