I’ve created too many enemies with my message board antics to go public with what builders I have contracts with.
I seem to recall a poll here somewhere, where most inspectors responded that they will not traverse a roof higher than 1 or 1-1/2 stories, for satefy concerns. I have seen similar comments on other MB’s also.
You are not a Washington Home Inspector, so your “Opinion” on the matter does not really matter.
So the license board said that IF an inspector basically never walked a roof, he is in violation of the rule/law?
Your quote is that “in the opinion of the inspector…” was a quote from the code/law/rule for HI’s in WA.
Really, isn’t every roof unsafe to walk to some degree? I know I try not to be too complacent when walking them or simply getting on and off the roof.
Yes, I am.
That’s what Steven Smith, a board member, says on his blog.
Yep, that’s why I used the words “useless” and “unenforceable” in regards to the law forcing an inspector to walk roofs. It seems that the only teeth the law has is giving an inspector an excuse for NOT walking a roof.
Not according to your website: http://cascadehomeinspections.net/
As asked in another thread, and ignored by you…
Where is your Washington State Home Inspector License number that is required to be displayed on all Home Inspector websites and advertising???
Ignored? No, I called you a misinformed clown because that’s what you are. A Washington State Home Inspector License isn’t required for my business until July 1, 2010. I assert you are a misinformed clown and that you are also a coward. Prove me wrong.
Well for at least 64 more days.
Nope. At most.
I stand corrected… As for the Blog you mentioned…that is the authors opinion, it is wrong, but he may spout it all he wants to…
I stand corrected…
Apparently, they like to be wrong.
