Washington State licensing??

You really are an Idiot Wendy, “STAY OUT OF MY STATE”…I thought you were a Republican…Free Trade, Interstate Commerce and all that…I’d bet that I pay more Property Taxes in Washington than you do…Washinton is My Territory, I’m Licensed in accordance with State Laws, you’re not.

So far Eastern Washington provides half of my Inspections and seeing as the Housing Market is actually doing a little better in the Spokane area than in the Coeur d’Alene area, I expect Eastern Washington to become a larger part of my Market.

And before you call people liars Wendy you should check out the numbers yourself, although most of us realize how confused you become when confronted with facts.

I did do a quick Check, now there are 4 Licensed Inspectors in the Spokane Area, within 30 miles, that’s 4 out of 16, if you expand the radius out to 50 miles the ratio will get even worse.

Here’s the list of Inspectors, just go down until the area inspected becomes 838xx

And here’s the WSDA Site, find the names…

“Someone Else’s Territory”, you really do live in a different World

I guess with that logic, someone from Vancouver, Wa. can’t do any inspections in Portland.

I think if someone should expand and perfect their own area before they come into someone else’s state and start criticizing the people.

I honestly don’t care what you think Lewis. Really I don’t. Because for every time you or Roy or James have called me names and harassed me, I have received support from countless others. I get phone calls, PM’s, and emails from all over the country asking for my advice. I honestly don’t give a r.a. what you think. I don’t know why people write to me either, but they do, and so I must have something of value to offer somebody. Even if it isn’t you three.

Some folks can get along.
please, try.
For instance, I live on the boarder between Ore and Wa, I’ll eventually have to intrude into someone else’s “territory”, or not survive. Simple issue of the math and “the capitalist” system we inherited.
Also, I am Lic SPI, unlike some of my closest competitors. Do I really Care? Not much, my true ability and respect for the trade, IMHO, will ultimately win out. In the meantime…harmony is worth more than all the “justice” in the world.

What makes Wahington your State Wendy, I’d be willing to bet that I’ve lived in Washington longer than you, I know my wife has, I own three houses in Spokane and Stevens county, and acerage in Birch Bay, I had a general Contractors license in Washington for ten years…I retired from Ft Lewis Wa, one son graduated from the U of W another from EWU, my wife from EWU, my brother from EWU…what makes it your State again…welfare checks?

If you don’t want to be harrassed quit giving your advice about things you know nothing about…the White Knights will always come to your aide won’t they Wendy, you’ve probably made good use of them your whole life, a sob story and a smile…isn’t that the game you play? “Countless Others”, what is that Wendy any number over 4?

""Total crap Lewis. None of it is true. You are the only person I’ve seen those numbers from and only when you insist on trying to justify why you are barging in on other inspector’s territory>>

Total Crap, Not True…did you check the numgers or are you just ducking for cover seeing as your mouth once again got way to far ahead of your ***.

You can’t even spell Lewis. Whatever.

I’ve lived continuously in Washington state since 1984 and off and on for 16 years before that. I’ll be 40 in a few months. Whatever again.

Nice little welfare dig there Lewis. Is that what you resort to when you don’t have anything intelligent to add?

forget it!!:frowning:
you guys are dug in tooooo deep.
Hope you have fun throwin’ Sh** at one another and making this BB look as immature as the lowest common …

No I could say that what you post is Total Crap and not true" and then when presented with the evidence that it was true, I could ignore it change the subject and play the poor little harassed woman. When you call people liars Wendy you don’t get to cry about anything said about you in return.

Want something Intellegent…You cannot sign a Home Inspection Report in Washington State that contains any reference or mention of conditions conducive the WDO Damage without having a WSDA Structrural Pest Inspection License, to do so violtates WA State Law and the NACHI COE…so are you a Vendor or an Inspector Wendy?

Randie,

You’re right, I apologize to everyone except Wendy, who by her and others failure to follow State Law and the NACHI COE make all of NACHI look bad.

Several of the Unlicensed Nachi Members are upset because my Website and my marketing materials all mention the requirement for an SPI License and refer possible clients to the WSDA Website to find if their Inspector is licensed. It works, many Realtors aren’t, or say they aren’t, aware of the WSDA’s view that the realtor may ve liable if they refer an unlicensed inspector to a customer, I carry copies of Soumi’s letter in case they ask for it. My last 4 inspections in Washington have came from my Website and all 4 have said that it was my reference to SPI Licensing and the link that I provided that sold them, it works well when they use Nachi’s find an inspector and then look for the names on the WSDA site, there are only 4 of us. I’m more than happy to use their lack of license against them when it comes to marketing, I’m not happy that any ASHi Member could use the number of licensed NACHI Inspectors against me and other Inspectors who comply with the Law, that’s why there are no NACHI signs on my truck anymore and why there will be little reference to NACHI on my new Website, brochures, and business cards.

Withing 100 miles of my home…

192 inspectors listed on “Find an Inspector”.

78 DO NOT show a listing on the WSDA list of licensed SPI.

114 DO have their license.

Pretty sad showing. I wonder how many of the 78 unlicensed also do not have a state business license.

I’m not practicing home inspection in this state without a pest license.

So HOW am I breaking the law. How?

Your Website says yu are a Home Inspector, you show up on Nachi’s Find an Inspector as a Home Inspector, you comment on every thread on a Home Inspector BB as a expert in every field…but now you say you don’t do Home Inspections…just what are you then Wendy, other than a BS Artist?

Do you just wake up this way Lewis? BTW, where do I ever claim to be an expert?

I never said I’m not a home inspector. I said I decided to put off practicing until I get the pest license. However, from my website and this site, I still get draw inspections, future bookings, and report writing jobs from other inspectors. -o<

Hi Randy,
How goes the struggle to get your business up and running? Out of your class, you impressed me the most as being a probable success. I think it’s best to stay out of the pi$$ing matches on this board. Seems like you learned pretty quick. Hang in!
