WDO/WDI in New Jersey

So, I have contacted the NJ Home Inspection Advisory Committee and the NJ DEP, yet no one can give me a straight answer, so I hope one of you guys can! Is there a certificate/license needed to perform WDO inspections in the state of New Jersey? I do NOT want to apply any pesticides, I just want to offer the inspection service along side of my other services. I know InterNACHI offers an online course, is this sufficient? Thanks in advance!

I’m trying to get the same answer. What did you end up doing/finding out?

There is. NJ says you need an applicator’s license. You need to take the Basic/CORE class and the Category 7B course. Then pass a test. Both courses are very straightforward.

For the PE’s out there, you are exempt from having to take the test, but you should take the courses.
