Your comments is how others read them. You knew! what the OP was asking, you did not offer it as a mere solution, you clearly stated what you did only to reaffirm it is not a safety issue, therefore not prohibited lol Read what I posted, it is how everyone else read it! You do it almost every thread!
It’s not my fault if someone can’t follow the thread.
They are more confused by the attacks. If what I say is not clear you could help me explain it better rather than bash me.
That may be true however he doesn’t know current law.
It is you! whom cannot follow, read again what the OP asked! your first and only response should have been what you said in post #79, and even then you argued! saying it’s only minor. All you do is argue. Look what I stated in post #7, even if you were not aware of the “minor”, in your opinion, violation you should have looked it up, I gave you the exact NEC reference. You decided to ignore the posts in the thread and do what Mr Parks does best! Don’t try to play games, it won’t work.
I know the reference. It’s in my 1993 NEC also.
I was trying to show where it is acceptable to have NM ‘under’ joists. Ease up.
Who asked you to do this??? where did you answer the OP’s question? let me help you (Yes you need it) in post #79!
did the OP ask WHEN it was acceptable? show me where! are you not capable of answering THE question you are asked? sounds like you cannot follow what you are asked. Again, look at what you are doing!
And even then you were wrong as the required setback woud not be met if it was installed where you showed.
Just everyone remember… … … …
Regardless if you believe a statement is truthful, publication of a false statement to even one person is sufficient to impose liability
In the great USA, “anything” you say can and “will” be used against you
PS: I was wondering if we could do 100 posts on this thread, I now think we can.
O)K FINE!
I’m #91 First one to 100 gets to start a poll if he should go, stay, remain for DUMB entertainment.
I’m #92, going for 100 posts.
93 of 100 posts
94 out of 100 posts…
You guys need to get out more…it must be snowing everywhere this week…
Didn’t know that I needed to ask permission first. Wouldn’t it be easier to just skip over my posts without negative comments and let others judge my comments for themselves?
I’m trying to protect Ohio Home Inspectors from making comments that they are not allowed to do.
What’s your problem with me offering Ohio advice to Ohio inspectors? Licensing is new here and there are decades of bad information out there.
The cables installed under the joists are subject to damage from hanging objects. Recommend review to a qualified contractor.
Look, no codes mentioned. An opinion stated.
Parks, You are truly clueless. I was there when the law was passed. As an agent of the State, I was apprised of the developments as they were unfolding. Toledo had a major role in the Seven-Year compromise.
You obviously have some reading comprehension problems so let me help you with the passage you posted. If you are still having trouble, maybe you can find a fifth-grader to assist you.
I also had a conversation with the Building Commissioner regarding other InterNACHI business a little more than a week ago. I mentioned that you are spreading misinformation on this forum. He said he has never heard of you. He confirmed that Toledo DOES still require a City of Toledo issued LICENSE in order to obtain permits and to do RESIDENTIAL electrical work for hire in the city.
A LICENSED Journeyman can work on a job and supervise a job ONLY if working under a LICENSED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.
I suppose it is possible that you know more than the City of Toledo Building Commissioner but, I kind of doubt it.
Do you really want to continue making an Ass of yourself? We can continue. I am happy to see you make a fool of yourself more than you already have (if that’s possible).
Goerge THANKS for “wasting” your time attempting to inform the incompetent one. I believe you know a hell of a lot better … … …
