See anything problematic with these vents in N. MI? (furnace and water heater)

Think northern Michigan…this was my configuration but I changed them both after some problem.

Yup, too close to the ground for snow. Not a problem in my area, however.

Many inspectors don’t think of the snow, or manufacturer’s installation instructions and it can be fatal.

These instruct 12" above expected snow fall amount, Brian… :+1:

I had my furnace quit and my water heater backdraft (where my CO detector sounded) in one day the first year and I was glad I was home because when I bought the house I noticed it but had not gotten to fixing it yet. :flushed:
