100 home inspections for new Iowa home Inspectors

Hello everyone,

I’m currently working toward meeting Iowa’s requirement of completing 100 home inspections to become a licensed home inspector, and I’m looking for guidance on how others have successfully fulfilled this requirement.

I’ve reached out to a mentor here in Iowa as well as several local inspectors, but unfortunately haven’t received any responses or leads so far. I understand that many inspectors are busy, but I’m hoping to connect with someone willing to offer advice, insight, or possible opportunities to gain the required experience.

For those of you who are licensed in Iowa, how did you go about completing your 100 inspections? Did you work under another inspector, partner with a company, or take another route?

Any recommendations, contacts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate the offer but that’s probably a little further than I’d like to drive.

IM trying to find out how to accomplish this in my state of Nevada as well. Any help would be appreciated.
