Meet Ben Gromicko: http://fl.nachi.org/1stcoast/event1026.html
I’ll try to be there.
I will be there. Let me know if you need anything.
I’m scheduled for the following meeting for this chapter. Ben and I didn’t want to overlap on one night.
There will be:
- door prizes;
- free inspection textbooks;
- full-color marketing brochures; and
- home maintenance books; and
We’ll be talking about:
- the Roof Data Technician Program in Florida with Owens Corning Roofing; and
- Florida licensed real estate agents can get free CE from their InterNACHI inspector.
Ben Gromicko, InterNACHI Director of Education, will speak about what a successful home inspector needs, including:
- free training;
- free CE courses;
- free software; and
- free marketing.
And he’ll show you where to find it all (for free) on www.nachi.org.
*** Free 6-month student memberships to InterNACHI ($499 value) will be given to all non-members who attend this event. ****

Are you buying the drinks like Nick did the last time he was in Jax ?
Registrations are coming in steady. We may need a bigger room.
All I wanna know is Ben buying drinks like Nick did the last time he was in Jax?
Why on a Tuesday ?
I have never understood this .
It is 100 miles from me here in High Springs .
What day, date, and time would you prefer?
A Saturday would be great, any time.
I’m away from everywhere where I’m at .
I’ve driven to Tampa ,Orlando and Ft Myers to go to meetings all during the week. It kills me.
When the NACHI world tour came to Jax it was during the week.
If it were a Saturday I would rent a beach house at Crescent for the fam.
And kill the weekend there.
I know it isn’t all about me , but I would love to come .
We asked several inspectors what would be a preferred day or time. Everyone wanted it during the week so as not to mess up their weekend free time. Personally, I did not have a preference. Maybe the next one we will do on a Saturday.
Some of us have to drive a distance.
I’m going to try to make it, but I will stay overnight (like last time) and just schedule my Wednesday inspection for 9AM. I can be there in plenty of time. The last time the hotel even had a hot breakfast, very nice. I will miss the free drink that Nick bought half way through the presentation (not to mention the drinks Nate bought afterwards at the Twisted Kilt). We didn’t get back to the hotel until around midnight. Really looking forward to it.
Someone remember the drinks !
I believe Steve is having me come down for his 2nd meeting. Drinks on me!
Here is a little 1-minute video discussing one of the issues to be discussed at the August 20, Jacksonville event: http://www.nachi.org/owens-corning-roof-warranty-program-press-release.htm
I plan to hold you to that!
Just make sure the room is big enough.
