Well it was a bad day today. 9 new members joined today and I had to process their apps. myself as Lia took a week long vacation to Vermont. Joe Farsetta called me at 1 am last night so I’m a bit sleepy. I’m running about 600 emails behind. NACHI phones rang off the hook today. 4 more new chapters formed and I still haven’t built the announcements for 4 others that are ready, oh and 1 NACHI fishing trip outing. Then to top it all off, I got robbed. They took my keys to my car and my wallet. So now I can’t get to the airport or get on the plane if I could. I rearranged my fights for the Tulsa Chapter meeting tomorrow so I’ll be there. I just have to go down to the Dept. of motor vehicles with my birth certificate in the morning to get a new drivers license 2 hours before my plane leaves. I thought it was a lousy day till I saw that the policeman taking my report was wearing a bullet proof vest. I realized then that I have little to complain about.

Nick,
Think you had a bad day?
I just turned 50 this morning and at 2:00 am the state police
called to tell me a kid threw himself through the front window
of the sporting goods store I own. Yes clean through!!!!! Don't
want to say gross things but lets just say he left part of his skin
and about most of his blood inside. Stoned and drunk!!! I had to actually
cut up my sign so I could board up the window.
Some birthday present That's why I still awake typing this.

Nick,
You got robbed? Was it in PA?
Hope you weren't carrying much green!
Sounds to me like your schedule needs more flexibility. Did you ever think of using a secondary to replace or assist Lia? Some of your workload should be passed on to another assistant. Unless of course, you enjoy running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Sorry about your bad day. Maybe after the Arizona meeting you can just sit in the pool with one of those umbrella drinks and watch the sun set. Look forward to meeting you tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about this. Maybe you should have showed them the specoscope packaging that would have made them run as customs thinks it a rocket launcher. Maybe always carry that tube with you. Just aim and watch them run. Once again sorry to hear about it.

I know what you are going through. A while back, burglers came into my house, took my gun collection, loaded up my truck with all my stuff including wallet, keys, stereos, 3 guitars, 2 pool cues, some furniture… and sped off. None of it ever found including my brand new truck.
BTW, Nick... I sent pictures of my logo from the AZ Chapter meeting as I promised.

Hey Nick,
That stinks!!
OK, they have your wallet and your keys, and they know where your live. Before you leave town you need to get your locks changed for sure for every key they got!! They may know your schedule because you may have posted some of it. They may be back down the road.
