4 Point Insp Contract

Here’s my problem with the whole Insurance Inspection process here in Florida. I am a home owner - so I am really peeved about this…
It takes 5 inspections to insure your home…
#1: The writing agent is responsible for verifying that the home exists and is insurable
#2. The client has to hire one of use to do a Four Point, or Roof Condition, or a Wind Mit
#3. The Underwriter sends out their own drive by guys to do what the Agent is legally responsible for and to check on our Four Point findings (as applicable)
#4. The Underwriter has their Drive by guys confirm the Roof Condition (all homes now over 25 years old)
#5. The Underwriter sends their own sub contracted RE-Inspect guys to verify any discount found via the Wind mit the client just paid us to do.

I can make this SO much simpler.
All Insurance companies should just do their own %#^%*)&%!!! inspections – we’re already paying for it through our premiums. So as a Home Owner – I say – Stop making me pay twice for the same ^%#$ service. JUST BILL ME!!!

Either that or based on our Home Owners premiums here in Hillsborough County – I need $175 for Wind Mits, and $125.00 for 4-points(which are now mini-home inspections) and the Roof condition I need $150 for so I can pay a roofer to go do the inspection " and" for me to be compensated for processing the paper work and photos..

But NO!!!- Can’t do that because of the low ball inspectors out there – I guess they live in apartments and rent.
