Perhaps those who oppose the use of a designation as a “marketing tool” (which CMI is a darned good one, by the way) would like to explain their publication of the term “NACHI” and “certified” on their websites. Since this would obviously have nothing to do with marketing…who do they think they are impressing with the fact that they have met the qualifications for membership?
I also see, Bob, that you have published that you are not only licensed by the State of Illinois…but also, in addition to just your license, you are also* “certified”* by them. What is that extra step and how does one get it to add to their license? Or…is that just a “marketing tool”.
