Had 2 sets of refrigerant lines and a gas line installed in a chimney chase for a wood burning fireplace. The chimney flue was double walled and there appeared to be sufficient clearance. The chimney was also not fire-blocked. It didn’t look right to me, but I can’t find anything code related except the clearance issues and missing fire-blocking. Am I missing something else here?
What was the clearance? Were things strapped so that clearance would be maintained? How about heat loss from the fireplace, drafting up the flue?
