I have a Acer C100 laptop for sale. I recently sold it for $960 on Ebay and the buyer was being really unrealistic with the expectations. He wants a refund. I asked him if he ever used another C100 before, and he said no, but for the money he spent, he wanted a top of the line ,perfect computer. I didn’t argue and I’m giving him his money back. The two reasons why he didn’t want the computer is the External CD-ROM (its a 48x CD-ROM) supposedly won’t let the CD come up after you pop it open. I’m not totally anal about this, so I didn’t notice it. I just noticed that my CDs worked and didn’t even pay attention to that (I offered him $60 bucks back to get a External CD burner since they are so cheap to get on Ebay and brand new, but he declined). Also, I guess the guy is going to be writing notes alot and he said that the cursor is off by an 1/8 inch. I didn’t believe this for a second because I used it for the few inspections I did and it wasn’t off that much (if anything, it was off maybe 1/32, almost unnoticeable and in my honest opinion, I thought it was pretty much dead on… and also, ever do a electronic signature at the stores like Home Depot or the grocery stores… its A LOT better then that ). The computer comes with two batteries, but one WILL NOT hold a charge (but can be bought off of Ebay for 50-60 dollars). I am asking $800 for the computer. If ANYONE is interested, please email me. I will be taking offers if no one bites on the starting price of $800. I just don’t want to waste another 30 dollars on Ebay fees. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at atlashomeinspections@comcast.net OR naturalatlas82@yahoo.com (or, just drop me a private message or just reply to this thread). I check both emails everyday and very often. I do prefer paypal, but I can accept a personal check, money orders, or cashier’s check. Here is the link for the past Ebay auction:

You can relist it for free on e-bay if the buyer backs out. Or even offer it to the next person in line. I have done both.
By the way, I have a TC1000 and I had that problem b/c it was set to right handed and I'm a lefty. Quick mode change and recalibration and it worked great.

Its been about a two weeks since they bought it. They bought it and I shipped it, but he’s shipping it back. I’d rather have it go to someone on the board (I think I could get probably 800 for it on Ebay, but just thougth I could get around that on here and help out a fellow NACHI member). I am going to try and see if Ebay will reimburse me for it… we’ll see.
Thanks for the help ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

Aaron,
The cursor was off by 1/32? If you whack the keyboard real hard, it'll fix itself. Try it.

That's it, I'm sending back the Suretest that I purchased from you. I don't like the color yellow. My UPS guy is on his way!
Ok?
I didn't think it was off, and if it was... I didn't notice and when I get the SureTest back, I'll color it whatever you want (I'll spray paint it with Kameleon color if thats okay... or your whatever color you want
