Anyone hear of a recall on an Aprilaire electronic air cleaner, model 5000?
A friend has one on his furnace and the installer called to say not to use it since there is a fire hazard. I checked their website but found nothing.

I ran ‘Aprilaire recall’ in Google - I had looked up Aprilaire a few months back after finding one during an inspection, so the brand named popped up and I mindlessly added recall. It worked. Don’t know why the information isn’t readily available with an entry for just 'Aprilaire".
