Thanks.

You want me to call you?
Yes, if you have any issue at all with InterNACHI’s credit card processing program. I promise I’ll take care of it instantly and issue a full refund if you are at all dissatisfied. No questions asked. I personally guarantee our program is the best out there and you have my cell phone number for immediate help 24/7. Here is my personal cell phone number again: (720) 272-8578. All members are free to call me if they have any problems with InterNACHI’s credit card processing program.
No, if you have an issue with some other credit card program, the Goodyear Tire company, your local Italian restaurant, FABI, or ChubbyPolishBridesByMail.com because I have nothing to do with their programs or the services they offer.
Sounds like the air filter program all over again.
Hi there. Just chiming in my two cents. Appropriate quote regarding all this back and forth from a GREAT movie :
“What we’ve got here is failure to
communicate.
Some men you just can’t reach…
So, you get what we had here last week,
which is the way he wants it!
Well, he gets it!
N’ I don’t like it any more than you men.”
It is always telling when you see someone with an “axe to grind”… I personally hate State Farm. Some people love it. Just sayin!
I’m going to chime in on this a month after the fact to hopefully help. Signature does have a monthly minimum, you must swipe $15 in cc/debit fees a month (that means that signature must make $15 off of the total you swipe each month) or there is a fee. I didn’t ask what that fee was when I signed up, as I don’t care. Most months I am running around $3,000 through Square alone. That’s not counting the out of state clients that I’m using the Paypal manual terminal over the phone for. So for me, it’s a no brainer. For folks who don’t run that much with them, Square may be a better option. Sorry that you had a bad experience with them in the past Russell. Nick is correct, it is InterNACHI’s program, I have the paperwork I got in the mail last week to prove it.
Update to this, if you sign up to accept American Express, they charge 2.83% and you will need to contact them at 800-528-5200 to select estatements be sent to you, otherwise they charge you $7.95 for monthly mailed statements. I had the $7.95 charged but I got it reversed once I called in. No biggie but just wanted to post for future FYI.
.
The $15.00 monthly minimum is Prorated. For example if you charge $8.00 one month it will cost $7.00, most processors charge $25.00. As long as you utilize the device and make sure your clients are aware that you accept all forms of payment this shouldn’t be an issue. Advertise, promote and market that you accept all major credit and debit cards and expose that powerful Visa/MasterCard logo.

After reading all this I still don’t know the terms and conditions…Fee…ect…ect…
I’m going to do something in the next week or so and I know what Squares terms and conditions and Fee are but not this ones.
Roy
Quick overview:
Rates vary depending on card. 63.8% of all transactions in our system are charged at $0.21 + 0.95% (compared to to Square’s 2.75%). 14.3% of all transactions are charged at $0.10 + 2.44%. The highest rate charged is $0.10 + 3.8%, which only happens 0.8% of the time.
There’s a $15 monthly minimum — if you do 3–4 credit card transactions a month, you won’t pay any fees, but if you do less than that you will be charged a $15 fee.
There are no statement fees. The equipment is free. There are no limits on volume (some of Square’s plans limit how much you can accept per month).
The bottom line:
If you only charge 1–2 credit cards per month, get Square. If you charge 3 or more cards per month, InterNACHI’s plan could save you a ton of money.
Chris
Thanks Chris.
This program is still not open to Canadian members. Been in contact twice with them and each time they say its coming and they will contact me when its ready. Last time i contacted them, Sept 2013, it was going to be ready Oct 1, 2013. Still waiting.
We put together a great little tool to help decide whether Square or Signature is right for you. It’ll tell you which is going to cost more based on your average inspection fee and your estimated monthly credit card volume:

Cheers,
So basically, membership is free now. Better than free.
Referring to the free credit card machine, don’t you need separate cell service for that machine?
All that sound good Chris but when will it be available to Canadian members?
Thank you Chris for the information, I’ve been trying to get those exact answers on and off since Nick first offered this. My only question now is why did it take so much back and fourth on the MB?
Because to procure the data and then to program something interactive like this: Merchant Accounts - Int'l Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) takes time (and we have one or two other projects we’re working on )
No one will say. Too bad the title of this thread is so misleading.
