After taking a sampling to verify that CUAL devices were used at switches and CO/ALR at outlets, I would still recommend the system’s integrity evaluated by a electrician.

Timothy’s got it. I would definitely check some random devices around the house to make sure they are CO/ALR. Then recommend further eval. by a sparky.

Sorry for the confusion here, but NO, in Texas if we see AL branch wiring we must “inspect a random sampling of accessible receptacles and switches to verify appropriate connections” In my first post, answering the original question, I stated I would still report for the system to be evaluated by an electrician.
We are required to check ALL accessible receptacles(plug in tester, flip switches), not just a sampling, regardless of wire type.
