i don’t think he was asking for an opinion. i may or may not like it, but the point is, that it’s something i did or didn’t think about and it’s just another tool to stir up the creativity in someones mind.
you've got to be willing to change and dare to be different if you want to be noticed.
after all isn't that what marketing is all about, doing something that will get people to remember you, your product, your service, your whatever !!!

Several of my buddies who are contractors use these signs, and say that they work well. They generate calls and/or get their name in front of the public, which is what marketing is.
The trick with this would be to talk the seller into allowing your sign to stay for a week or so.

It’s a good idea for another reason. Those of us that do not have co. signs on our vehicle can use it for safety. Safety? Yeah safety! I was inspecting a home and the agent failed to notify the seller of the inspection. The seller walked in and just about called the police on me thinking I was burglarizing the place. I was in the kitchen and she walked in, looked at me, and I looked at her, and she was like who in the … are you? I was thinking to myself…someone who can help you unload this place.
Since then I have a small co. sign I will put in the entry sidewalk.

the potential buyer, more than likely, will use another inspector to get a perceived unbiased report. but I have found that the pre list inspections are for the most part for the sellers piece of mind. He knows what he will be in for before he gets an offer on his property, what he wants to fix, what he didn’t know about, and what may be bargained for at the time of offer.

I think the sign idea is a great one. We used to use these when doing repairs on homes and it worked well. I have been thinking about this for a while and believe I will jump in.
