In early September, the WSIB released 7 draft policies in support of the Rate Framework Modernization.
The draft policies flesh out some of thesignificant changes that will result from the Rate Framework and provide guidelines on how the WSIB will do classification and determine if a companycan have multiple rate groups. The WSIB is looking for submissions to thesepolicies. We encourage all inspectors to make a submission to explain how the WSIB application of Bill 119 unfairly impacts Home Inspectors, Realtors and their combined clients.
The WSIB will accept submissions on the draft policies until October 13, 2017. The policies are available on the WSIB’s Rate Framework Consultationwebpage](http://bit.ly/2hqKyLW).
To take part in this consultation, please review the consultation materials below, and provide your feedback to the consultation_secretariat@wsib.on.ca by October 13,2017
Thanks Roy. I am all for workplace safety. What I am not for is government controlled workplace safety. This should be left to the free market and individuals and companies.
Roy, maybe Ontario members and business can call Monica at CARAHS.
CARAHS is a Ministry of Labour Approved Working at Heights Training Provider.
I have talked to them 7 years ago and we almost meet in 2011 when they were in Quebec. Great individuals.

Forgive me, but I was wondering what this has to do with making submissions to the WSIB?
Cheers
This as well?
Huh!
Cheers
Read all of post one the WCBI wants all Ontario home inspectors to pay them money .
(" We encourage all inspectors to make a submission to explain how the WSIB application of Bill 119 unfairly impacts Home Inspectors, Realtors and their combined clients ")
They have always wanted that to happen.
I just wonder why you are advertising a working from heights training provider. My question remains: What does this have to do with making submissions to WSIB?
Cheers

Hi Doug!
As you’ll recall, Alex and Monica came to the AGM and made a presentation on their services. They are providers and have no say on how WSIB policies are handled. This was indeed made clear by Alex as we discussed the entire situation.
The advice to contact them to get forward with WSIB is incorrect.
Best regards,
Pat
Not advertising Douglas.
Just thought Monica might be able to help provide somer information.
Best.
Apparently not. See Pat’s post.
Cheers
Just trying to help.
