I am very limited knowledge on basement windows and egress as basements are not a thing in our area due to most of the ground here being solid rock.
Can you have proper egress under a porch like this? Any input somebody can give me where you really appreciated as I really truly have almost no knowledge on them due to the complete lack of basements.
IT does not meet the accepted standards for basements or basement bedrooms, under decks, and would be a potential safety hazard:
Regardless of the “Egress Path” minimum height, the “Egress Window Well” itself does NOT meet standards!!
