Bathroom window venting inside house?

Possible narratives?

Not a Home Inspection issue. What your describing is a behavior issue (a paraphilic disorder). I am not their psychoanalyst but my guess is they need one.

Of course if he is an exhibitionist then his only possible guests will be voyeurs and everything will be seen as it should.

I would sure hope the average home buyer would be aware of that without the inspector needing to point it out.

Suspected one-way mirrors in the living room/jacuzzi area. This condition is considered subjective to the homeowner’s desired use for the space. This is for your information.

That works. I was just going to go with…

“bow-chicka-wow-wow”

if ya know what I’m saying, lol.

I have a bathroom window facing my backyard, where my family gathers. I wish a home inspector would have mentioned the privacy issue. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Exposing oneself to others (or not) is a personal choice, NOT a Code enforcement issue!

Or, used to gather.

Inspecting the Bathroom Exhaust
Exhaust air from bathrooms, toilet rooms, water closet compartments, and other similar rooms shall not be:

  • exhausted into an attic, soffit, ridge vent, crawlspace, or other areas inside the building; or
  • recirculated within a residence or to another dwelling unit.

Operable bathroom windows are a convenient feature, but they should not be relied on for consistently adequate bathroom ventilation.

This is the definitive answer. I have corrected the verbiage regarding this issue. Thanks, Robert.
