Looking for input on the ladders you use. I need enough length to get on a 2 story roof and be light and durable.

Always use a ladder at least one Grade higher than you think you need… which means a Grade 1 or better!

I only recommend type 1A (or 1AA) as your life is on the ladders. I have a 24’ and it is tall enough 95% of the time. 28’ would have been a better choice. Id stick with fiberglass as well. opinions vary.
I personally love the little giant ladder. The one I have is 24 feet and relatively light and versatile. It folds into many positions and had a great a frame height. It will get me into any attic no problem. I highly reccomed it.

If the two stories have basements you will need a 28’ extension ladder. If it’s light it won’t be durable
I use a Werner rated for 300 pounds, not because I am heavy, but because I don’t like doing the ladder hula.
