Boiler relief valve vs. temperature relief valve

Is this a temperature & pressure relief valve or just a relief valve? Does it need to have a T& P valve? Residential boiler. This always confuses me with boilers. Any helpful insight is always appreciated! TIA.

Guide to Temperature & Pressure Relief Valves used on boilers, calorifiers, geysers, hot water cylinders, water heaters & all water heating equipment.

A T&P valve or temperature and pressure relief valve is installed on all modern heating boilers, steam boilers, water heaters, and on certain other pressurized or heated tanks and equipment to release hot water and pressure should the boiler’s internal pressure or temperature rise to an unsafe level.

Some equipment may have only a pressure relief valve with no temperature sensor. On a water pressure tank that’s fine, but on water heaters and steam or hot water heating boilers such an installation is not safe and may not comply with building codes.

TPRV will, in addition to pressure, say at which temperature it will open. If it only mentions pressure, it’s a PRV.

Boilers (hydronic & steam) need a PRV
Water heaters with a storage tank need TPRV.
On demand or instant or wall hung water heaters normally use a PRV.

Know your source. Which inspector do you trust more?

Imo, the product description seems pretty straight forward that it’s just a PRV but is approved for this application…

Not sure about variances that local jurisdictions may have.

So you slam me for a “copy and paste” when I clearly showed you where it was from. Not trying to take credit just giving you an answer from a reliable source.
I guess I could have replied to your first question

No it clearly states “RELIEF VALVE”
