That’s pretty amazing. Here we have a unified code for the entire state. There is no “home rule” or “I want it done this way” crap. Inspectors do not get to make up their own rules, although many try. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Well, I wish the AHJ in my area would enforce the code better I guess. It has the potential to make us look bad if we point out something that is incorrect but the AHJ has signed off on it. The breaker in question is very likely not approved for 2 wires. I have no way of knowing for sure that the homeowner did not alter the panel but I did meet the owner and I can say I am 99% sure they did not. The AHJ last signed off the panel in 2010 when the bathroom was re-wired. Question for you Robert, typically will the AHJ inspect the whole panel if they are just there for a new circuit or two?
