BOB I see member ship dropped 2000 plus in the past 9 months.
Could be wrong but I looked 2 months ago and in the states it was 9000 plus.
Azzes like Brian MacN. and the belittling of members on the MB does not help one bit,
I mention to Nick in person that in my humble opinion he will lose by top members here not being as patient as they should be.
Just my view and not looking to argue with anyone.
Numbers do not lie.
The members that came to me complaining do not lie.
Me here all of 10 months.
No. My membership expired and January was too tight to renew it. Hope to be back soon.
Not preferred, but nothing ‘wrong’ with it if used properly. In this case, it should be treated wood. You should not stack wood shims indefinitly either. That’s why I think my somewhat arbitrary 4" rule is appropriate.
Joe, one of your fellow members (not me) just paid your 2011 dues by phone tonight. He asked me not to reveal who he is on the message board. He is from Chicago, that’s all I can say.
God help me, I love InterNACHI members. I really do.
I don’t know what to say…I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life. What a blessing! Please tell the mystery man from Chicago how deeply touched I am.
There you go Joe.
Nicks the King!!!
Back with the rat pack.
No No No wood shims for windows or shaking.
A wooden block single cut piece Joe’ As stated before, or I would be at the business that worked with iron, metal, steel, and fabricate a wedge to fit perfectly.Be around 100 dollars.
Whoever paid my dues, this message is for you:
I’ve never had anyone do anything like that before (besides maybe my mother or wife).
Things have been tough here in the HI business. My business has gone from 10 or more a week to an average of 2 a week, and sometimes none. To get by, I took a job as a building official in a small town that pays less than $50K, and $800 a month of that goes to medical insurance for my family. I support a family of 5 by myself. Things have been tight for some time, but we are getting by (with nothing to spare).
If I knew who it was, I’d say I hope to be able to repay you, but it may be this summer when the HI business picks up as it usually does seasonally.
God bless you my dear friend.
I will say a prayer for you and your family.
Our father tests us sometimes. I see you believe or would not of even mentioned his name.
Good luck, things will be better this year.
Our Chicago members are really great. They have a whole culture of helping fellow InterNACHI members.
Nick from what I see here at InterNACHI every North American member is giving. But when monetary help is being given freely it only endorses how this association out strips all others combined.
It’s always great to here of such heart felt news ! Great luck to you Joe !!!
