I would suggest contacting Bryant directly and asking for a Technical support representative. I have always found the Tech Reps to be extremely helpful.

Jerry:

That was my first thought. (1989)

Was there something that indicated that the unit was 2000 vintage??

Paul,

According to Preston’s Guide they made that model from 1993 - 2000 (60,000 BTU’s). That’s as specific as they get on that one.

0589A00873 The four numbers before the letter usually would be week/year, speaking in general terms. The 00 after the letter made me have second thoughts, not to mention the condion of the whole unit. The other possibility would be that maybe I wrote down 0589 instead of 0598

Any more thoughts

Thanks much.
