Wrote this up that the electric wire should be in conduit to prevent damage to the wire. Electrician told the homeowner that it was satisfactory the way it was wired. Would like your opinions.
How high off the ground is it?..is it UF?
Sure looks like yellow Romex when you expand the pic. That should be in conduit of some type…
If it is NM-B cable it is not for use outside and should be replaced.
If it is UF I don’t see why you think it should be protected by conduit.
The connector used looks too short to be a weatherproof rated connector, and they are only for 1 cable not 2.
