I have a carrier air handler Model FMA4X2400AL / Serial V200766608, actually says CAC on label, that would indicated 2 ton manufactured in 2007.
The condenser does says Carrier Model 25HCE424A300 Serial 3920E23750 - 2 ton manufactured in 2020.
My question is, could the air handler been manufactured in 2020?

IMO, your dates are likely correct. In my area, a Condenser typically operates for 12-15 years.
The 2020 date means the original condenser lasted 13 years before going belly-up… right on schedule!
Verified with the HVAC installing that indeed the air handler is a Carrier apartment unit and is only 4 years old. Never saw a Carrier use the 1 and 2nd digit for the age before.
I dropped “FMA4X2400AL“ into Google and got back that it’s an Arcoaire. And building center says that that is a 2020.
Hello Greg, this condensing unit is a 2020 and they are a bad match base on tonnage and probably seer rating.
Arcoaire is a Carrier company.
