Good morning everyone. I am in the middle of completing my 4 mock inspections for my license and came across something today that I was curious about. I’m not sure if this is acceptable or a poor design from the manufacturer. Basically it’s a chimney cap where the top doesn’t overhang the sides and its causing leaves to be trapped inside it and around the flue. There are large oak trees near the house so this will always be an issue. Would you recommend it be replaced or is it not a concern? Thanks again!
