Is anybody bringing slippers on inspections?

I wear PEACH-colored ones.

Where can I get protective clothing for crawlspace inspections? - for cheap.

I got a box of those things that you slip over your shoes like they have in hospitals from a medical supply store. For crawl spaces go to Home Depot or similar and get a Tyvek suit. There about $7.00 or so. They are very hard to tear and lightweight.

Ben,

I can not believe you would even think about buying protective coverings after sending me into the crawl space on the 9.5 million dollar property with nothing but a damn flashlight. It took me a week to get all those cobwebs off me. I had to wash my clothes twice. I washed my hair 5 times. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Hot pink is my color.

Joe, Joe, Joe. That is the cost of working with other inspectors. When you are in the passenger seat, you are the grunt.

And your hair being dirty - that's nothing new - your hair is always a bee hive. It's the dirt in your teeth that you need to be concerned with.

:P

The grunt says he will pass that little tidbit of information along to Dan, just in case you are sending him in all the dirty spaces. Oh, you mean you wanted the suits for him and not for yourself! HEHE!

I do carry a pair of slippers with me. I used to trail around in Socks but I think Slippers are a better touch. As for crawl spaces don’t be afraid of the Webs Just the BIG BUGS that crawls around on them. icon_evil.gif

I personally don't really like the Attic Stuff. The other thing about the attic is you never know what you are going to poke your head up into.

I don’t take my shoes off for anyone. I pull the hospital booties over my shoes. Never had a customer mind. In fact, some comment on how professional it is. Of course it’s not pink!! Doug

I get the ones w/ the tread. They actually provide pretty good footing on all surfaces.
