Hey Guys. Just had some questions about commercial inspections in Florida. Do you need any additional licensing? If so, how do you go about getting that. If not, what are the differences opposed to residential. How does everyone charge? More than residential, same, less? Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated.
If I remember right, and i could be wrong but i remember Dale Duffy telling me the only state you have to be licensed for commercial is Nevada. Contact NACBI http://www.nacbi.org/
Thanks Eric. I’ll look at that.
No licensing of commercial inspectors in FL. NC has a license but no longer enforces it. TREC in Texas doesn’t but asserts the right to regulate them in the future.
As long as you have the FL. home inspectors license…Correct?
What is required in Florida to do Wood Destroying Insect inspections, and Wind mitigation inspections. Is the Florida Home Inspector License # acceptable?
You can do the Mits , WDO is another thing.
No license is required for commercial inspections in Florida. Wind. MIT do require a license. WDO inspections require a certified pest control operator’s license and an wdo Id card.
