I thought that since the e-mail went out last night I would give everyone an update as to the various convention statuses.

At the moment when ask for a theme we selected "Our magical beggining"

So far we have had tremendous repsonse for the convnetion. I currently have over 300 people signed up on a mailing list about the convention. Our site has had over 1000 unique visitors since it was first shown to the membership.

The site will be going through some changes over the week. The changes include:
Updating the Vendors lists with Vendor layouts
Online registration form and payment page
Full Calendar of events

Gerry B: is working on the education program. I expect that it will be a top notch program. When I last spoke to him last week regarding it he told me he was about 30% done. There will be the oppurtunity to achieve up to 18 hours of CE credits there.

Paul Sabados: is working on the vendor contacts. As of right now he has one of the most complete databases I have seen regarding vendors in our industry. We are expecting no less then 50 vendors. Several of them have already taken multiple booths.

Earl Beahm and John Bowman: They are co working on the NACHI Golf Tournament that is going to take place on Saturday for those members who want to swing away. We are planning on 18 foursomes with some vendor sponsorship and a couple of other fun things. Try to hit the hole in one if you can.

Thursdays formal banguet for the Foundation will be a great dining experience and a lot of fun.

There are still many more things that are in the works. If anyone else would like to help out with various projects regarding the convention, please email me at gary@nhiti.com and lets talk.

Dave Bush, has gotten us a discount on a rental car company for anyone wanting to rent a car down there.

Thanks all, I will post more next week.
