I’m really looking forward to this year’s convention. I’ve been out of the industry for a few years but can’t wait to get back into it.
Hi Daryl,
We look forward to having you at the convention!
Looking online I see only a few workshops show “Register for the Event.” Does this mean the workshops that don’t have this are all full? I’ve never been to a large convention before so I really don’t know what to expect and don’t want to travel across the country to be sitting on a bench
They aren’t all listed on one page. I know, horrible marketing and I’ve gotten similar complaints from others. The site is designed to trick you into thinking there are only a couple courses.
Anyway, you have to first go here: https://www.nachi.org/convention24/education
Then scroll down. Click on the day first, then the time slot below it, then scroll down to see all the workshops in ONLY that time slot on that day. Aggghhh.
Then to see the next set of workshops you have to go back up and change the time slot. Aggghh.
You have to do that for each day by going back again and changing the day. Aggghhh.
I don’t find any way to see them all. Again, I agree with you. Horrible site this year.
Sorry.
Here are the presenters. Scroll down: https://www.nachi.org/convention24/presenters
Hope no one is going to loose her/them testes over this.
Well, with every failure in life, I try to work it backwards to the first domino that fell. I think what happened is that their only interaction with the Convention is actually at the Convention. At the actual Convention we have attendees who are looking at it from a “I’m here, it’s this particular day, it’s this particular time, what are my workshop options?” From that view, the current Convention site is perfect.
We aren’t marketing the Convention to attendees at the Convention. But that doesn’t help me a month out.
This is where I was looking. None of the workshops have the option to register for the event. On any day or time slot. I see “Additional Discussions” have the option to register. So my question was, are all the workshops full or are they large rooms that don’t require registration? The site is easily navigable and a good layout. I’m just confused on this aspect.
Yeah, there’s that.
I signed up/paid but I’m not seeing how to get into the workshops.
