Kenneth: Have you registered for the Convention?
I just was wanting to know how many were going to Attend (212) view the post (15) Members going (14) not sure (1) Non Member odd's are not looking good.
For me I'm not sure.
I have a limited amount of $$$$$ to spend for I'm newbie in the buss. I need to make sure that they are approved for state credit toward my llicensed that I must have to Keep them.
This will be a big factor on weather I attend or not. They must be approved for continuing education/licensing before attending or they do not count. So far they are not approved. I know Gerry Beaumont have applied for the approval. Gerry Beaumont is doing a great job for the Assoc.

Kenneth, we have been approved as a provider for CE for Illinois, and we have submitted the papers to get the convention approved by the State.
Now, for those that are marked unsure, what do we need to do or offer to convince you to go. NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP, not afterwards and say I really wish they had done (fill in the blank)

Yes I know that the Assoc. has been Gerry Beaumont stated that in some other post. I said that the class are not approved yet which is true they must be preapproved before you attend to be credited by Ill for continuing education is all I'm stating.

It’s possible that I missed it, but I have not seen anything about the convention outside of this message board. Last week, I was talking with a NACHI inspector who does not attend the BB and he had never heard of it. I have received several postcards and flyers about attending the InspectionExpo in Vegas.
-Not trying to despair anyone's hard work with the convention.

Well I checked unsure for now but I'm leaning toward not going.
Few months ago I was planning on attending. Looking forward to listing to Joe T and Robert O. Three of the class I thought would be excellent. The plumbing would also be good. So now there are 4 classes that really has my attention. Schedule time off and was waiting for a few more classes that was really going to make it worth the trip but they never seemed to come along.
This is not meant in a negative way But Knowing that NACHI has a tendency to oversell and was question the price for the education. With two conventions in Jan and one in Feb. I know I can only attend one.
Right now I,m leaning toward the one in February.

Larry, what other classes were you looking for? There is no overselling involved, here is the convention, here are the vendors, here is the education, etc.

Any type that I could learn something from.
I think everyone has done a good job in getting this started. The ones afterward will be even better. But for now I need all the education I can get and need to pick and choose since I'm on a budget.
