Could someone explain these trusses

Home built in 1987, all the ends looked spliced with what looks like a 2x6 to extend the soffits. Is this allowed?

The hinged gussets are consistent of trusses used for modular homes.

Agree. The multi-piece Ridge board is another clue.

Yes, they run it down the road and then extend the soffits and raise the ridge on those manufactured things when it is on site.

Wouldn’t have thought this would be a manufactured home.

DO NOT confuse MANUFACTURED with MODULAR… they ARE NOT the same!
