CSST less than 2" above recessed light

Anybody here call this out as a concern? I don’t see any mention of clearances in the Gastite Install guide.

Gregory, I don’t see much of a problem, when the insulation is installed in the ceiling space, it will isolate the wiring and the CCST pipe.
This is assuming that the recessed can is IC rated of course.

This is between floors so no insulation will be installed. The light is IC rated. Thanks Marcel!

No problem at all.

What does CSST stand for? First time I’ve seen the acronym.

Tim, CSST stands for Corrugated Staninless Steel Tubing for gas usually.

IC stands for Insulated Contact rating for what this thread was about I believe.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Marcel.
