As a Builder doing smaller work in NZ I see a lot of bad work on decks.
Sometimes they can be remedied sometimes a rebuild. Guess its the same

I would say 95% of the decks I see are defective in some way.
Pretty close.
I would say 99.99%.
A lot of homeowners will try there hand at building a deck. But fortunately, not so many will tackle their own electrical. It’s the magic factor.
