I have installed this types of direct vents. They are made for close tolerances. I would have had the window removed and a more suitable wall built, like cement block. It should not have been installed through a window. I would recommend a proper wall be installed. The height from the ground is OK.


Was the boiler running when you took the picture? Looks like it because the draft regualtor is wide open. Also recommend a draft test be done, the regaulator should not be opened that much, running or not.
