So you say they are requiring you to obtain a license? Didn’t you just answer your own question?
It looks like you do, at least if you want to do it legally.
I heard the governor veto the bill that requires PA to be a licensed state. When I talk to the city employee, they couldn’t really give me an answer. So I figured I would asked here, just to make sure. If that’s cool with you?
Yea, I have all that. I had to fix the certificate of insurance, they want the city address on there. But they want $349 a year to be licensed, which is fine with me. But I was just watching Coffee with Ben replay from the other day and he said the Governor veto the bill which requires a license to do home inspections in PA. I know Philly likes to implement their own rules, but their also late to the party in correcting things. Thanks for the info!
Based on a quick read of what Kevin posted, it appears to me that it’s a “tradesman” business license, which many jurisdictions require if you are performing a service within their jurisdiction. Nothing more than what PA requires for a HI, just a few more steps. I also thought that the fee of $348 was renewed every 3 years? Anyway, one inspection in the jurisdiction would cover the cost of the license.
My commercial activity license, which I believe I only needed at the time.
Oh, yes most definitely. I’ll have to double check if it’s yearly or every 3 years. But either way, I wanna make sure I have everything I need in order.
