Yesterdays inspection was a doozy and my favorite was this homeowner installed uncased evaporator coil.

I’ve seen some crazy HVAC work in the last few weeks, but that certainly tops them.
How could it? It’s in the open. 
Are you sure it’s hooked up to the AC and not for some reason to the water heater
Its hooked up to the AC. I followed the lines and Yup, it is hooked up.
Did it work? I’ll bet it did. and maybe it was properly contained as to how dows it cool outside the box. But yep, its still hooked up.
