Im just forming my new inspection company and wanted to find out if E & O Insurance is really a need or can you go with just GL Insurance ? I see some Inspectors have E & O and some don’t. Wanted to get a good consesus for this subject with all of you.

If you are going to get insurance IMO it is wise to get E&O and GL. There are plenty of vendors on this site that would be more than happy to talk to you about your options.
Some states require it. Florida, to my knowledge, doesn’t, unless you perform Mold Inspections. Someone in Florida correct me if I’m wrong.
Personal opinion; I wouldn’t want to operate without it. What happens when someone files a suit against you? Even if it’s clearly bogus, it can still cost you a significant chunk of change to defend yourself.
