E&O Insurance

We are new to InterNACHI and the inspection side of the industry. We have spent several decades as builders and craftsman and recently decided to take our knowledge and experience and use it to help buyers and others that don’t have this type of knowledge.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that is respectable and fair that writes E&O coverage for central Ohio? Our commercial insurance agent had the proverbial deer in the headlights look when we asked him about E&O for building inspectors. That didn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy. So I am looking for a new source for E&O coverage.

Any advice or recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend looking at nachi.org/insurance. It is a program that is endorsed by this organization and was reported to go to bat for you. We are looking at them as well and I have recommended them to are various franchises across the country.
