Eaton Back-Fed Hold Down

Want to be sure I’m not losing my mind… I should see the screw in this hole, right? Just want to be sure nothing has changed and they are now not visible. Panel was put in within the last few years.

Google it.
There are many styles of fasteners available, with the screw being the most common.

I did and saw some that looked as though they might not be visible… Hence, the question.

Thus my answer… yes, it could be hidden. Only one way to tell for sure!

Q: If you did not remove the cover, how do you know the breaker is even “back-fed”? Fastener is not required if it’s NOT back-fed!
