Equipment recommendations?

My preference is pinless, (dont wnt to ding up walls looking for moint=sture in a house not owned by you or your client)

I followed the link you provided a second time (thanks again) and read it more carefully. Actually, the meter is not for wood only. It measures WME (wood moisture equivalent) of several materials. I spoke to the vendor and their is no problem getting a measurement in other media. So, then, the question is, is WME a useful quantity.

If you have done your research and have talked to the manufacturer about it then you should be good but it is still not pinless.

I’ve read about the trade-offs between pinless and pins and I am comfortable, for now, with this meter. Thanks again for your help.
