How about a 2" slice of prime rib surrounded with roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus and Bay of Fundy scallops with a bernaise sauce. Yorkshire pudding is a definate must. This is to be savoured with a bottle of Folonari Valpollicella.

If you have room after that I recommend a piece of tiramisu accompanied by a snifter of Chivas Regal.

Ron I can't wait to meet you. We love picking the jelly out of Maurice Lennel star cookies. Then we agree that Franksville foot long cheddar dogs are great. Now you talkin' In-N-Out Burgers?? My friend when I'm in California I only have my eyes on two things and one happens to be their burgers. ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif) ![icon_lol.gif](upload://zEgbBCXRskkCTwEux7Bi20ZySza.gif)

with 6 years of training, when I was much younger, in French and Italian cuisine, my wife eats pretty dang good when I cook(most of the time). She moved up here from Texas and is now introducing me to some southern cookin. But when it’s time to treat myself, I just gotta have a 2lb New Yorker with asperagus and garlic butter, baked potato and sour cream, washed down with copious amounts of cold, pure water.

Monster Margaritas (cold) and Chicken Fajitas (very, very hot).

That's how I rate any Mexican restaurant I visit. Salsa to sweat by.

Brian, where in Phoenix can you get abalone?? I can't even find it when we go to the coast!! It's my favorite and I haven't had any in years!!

I have not had it in years either Joseph. icon_sad.gif

But in my younger days you could pick them off the rocks near my parents home. As I got older you had to go out to the Santa Barbara Channel Islands to get them, now also closed to Abalone fishing. I believe you can still free dive for them north of San Francisco.

I keep telling myself I will make the trip someday.

Joseph when was the last time you had a Pismo clam? ![icon_sad.gif](upload://nMBtKsE7kuDHGvTX96IWpBt1rTb.gif)
