Post the names. Let us check it out. Don't assume something or start rumors.

I heard a rumor that the president of FABI desires to have FABI join NACHI and that after that name FABI as a NACHI Chapter. I dismissed this as simple stupid rumor and knew that NACHI would not commit this type of suicide. But I didn't post it out of respect to your organization and ours. But now....well, I guess I let the rumor out of the bag. ![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif)

I would like to know what this off topic tripe started by the outgoing FABI president has to do with state legislation and why it is not in the “spam” forum with the rest of the garbage.

Come on Jim, give a guy a break.

I mean, if I didn't know, and they didn't know they were NACHI members. Does it really count as misrepresentation?

Isn't it kinda like that gambit about the tree that falls in the forest... If there is no one there who hears it, did it really make a sound?

In the not too distant past, NACHI had been an ambassador of goodwill and there was even talk regarding FABI and NACHI working together, but your incessant badmouthing of many FABI members, especially our current president has all but destroyed the camaraderie that once existed. I still remain hopeful that NACHI leadership will someday recognize the value that that would flow down to all association members, both FABI and NACHI, the day you are no longer perceived as the "Voice of NACHI".

There are channels of communication, other than off-topic posts on message boards, through which professional association leaders obtain data to present to "high ranking" persons.

John, you are right. False

Here is just one of the names. Ron Sabac. We can work through all of them if you wish.

I will feed them to you one at a time.

Sounds good.

NACHI Chief of Operations, Aimee Jalowsky will be answering or looking into each one you submit. (I'll be out of town for a couple of days). In response to Ron Sabac his dues just came up for renewal in August. He has not renewed yet. His name will not be dropped right away, at least not until the grace period (90 days I believe, it may be extended for Floridians because of past hurricanes, etc. and allowing them to get back on their feet).

Jeff Hooper,

You are wrong.

Ron Sabac not only joined in 2004, he entered his 20 zip codes in his http://www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm ...something we can't do for him.

Ron himself entered his 20 zips after joining.

Prior to NAHI folding, we came pretty close to filing a libel suit against every member of NAHI’s BOD for saying NACHI adds inspectors to it’s membership roster without them (or their employer) making an application for membership.

It was in the not too distant past that your puppeteer was throwing around FABI money, bragging to be in total control of the inevitable signing into law of his version of HB 315, and predicting his success of "ridding Florida of NACHI". He wrote as to how he celebrated every time he heard of someone leaving our association.

Now, he publishes lies about our members on our own message board while reports of his working behind the scenes to use NACHI CMI designation to enhance FABI member status and channeling NACHI dollars to Inspection Depot are popping up all around.

Where is this "comaraderie" you are referring to?

So either give me the facts by answering the questions, or I will give the facts I have to the persons requesting the info. The choice is yours

Hmmm. Quandry, isn't it. Their is a simple solution though.

Let NACHI speak for themselves to your "high ranking person"!

I'm sure that all of the National Associations would prefer to speak on their own behalf. For NACHI have them contact the appropriate office listed on http://www.nachi.org/contact.htm or you could forward the name and contact information of the "high ranking person" and NACHI will consider their request and merits of the inquiry.

I strongly urge that you cease and desist from acting as a spokesperson for the NACHI organization in Florida State matters or concerns.

I am understanding of industry leaders who scratch their heads in disbelief and ask “how the hell does NACHI do it?” Well we don’t do it by cheating… I assure you. We don’t hold a gun to anyone’s head and force them to join, they join of their own free will. And with the value NACHI membership offers in return for 79cents a day… what businessman wouldn’t join?

Above and beyond NACHI's size, which is so impressive that industry leaders can't believe it... I think our growth is even more incredible.

We had 22 members join in the last 24 hours... and the night is young! ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)

Jeff,

NAHI folded as a trade association for our profession when they accepted a large cash "corporate sponsorship" from USInspect in return for permitting the bribing of REALTORs. See NAHI's COE and Civil Justice's lawsuit under the Consumer Fraud Act.

That is about as "folded" or "sold out" as a trade association can be. NAHI is merely a marketing arm of 50 million/year USInspect and everyone knows they aren't a real association any longer. They folded.

Anyway, the point is that when talking about NACHI's size... I can assure you... we are actually even bigger (in the areas that really matter) than we appear.

Mr. Hooper,

I don't know you from Adam. From the outside, looking in, I can't see why you should expect anyone from NACHI to trust that you would represent NACHI fairly. No matter what information you propose to pass along.

Why don't you defer the particular request for information directly to NACHI? Seems like the right thing to do.

There must be something very important here, to Hooper, to keep him coming back and making such a fool of himself.

Again, no problem. Then you will feel comfortable of putting in your synopsis that NACHI has ______ number of members in Florida. Naturally if you feel that 3 or 4 are not members anymore, subtract them. It really does not matter. The Florida tally goes up almost daily. Maybe by the time they use your figures NACHI will be up to 2,000.

Perhaps your report about NACHI should include the statement that within the last year FL NACHI membership is increasing by an average of 1 or 2 members or more per day.

I guess it comes down to this. On the day of your submittal of the report contact me and I will give you an exact count as of that day. But you should never make the assumption that the numbers are off 30-40%. That is a politicians poll not an accurate accounting.
